People should also understand that Ash DID NOT RELEASE OR ABANDON Charizard. He left him there to train, since that’s what Charizard wanted - he wanted to stay and become stronger and prove he’s as good as the other Charizards there. So it’s not as if Ash just left Charizard behind - he still belongs to Ash, he’s not just traveling with him anymore. Way too many people seem to forget this and attack Ash for “releasing his strongest Pokémon”. Charizard’s going to become stronger there, you know…
